A new 23 track compilation from Seb Taylor's various projects, including music by Kaya Project (featuring Randolph Matthews & Omar Faruk Tekbilek), Hibernation, C23, Subterfuge (with Natasha Taylor) & Digitalis.

Included as a bonus with the bandcamp release is the full Vocal Mix of 'Hourglass' as well as 3 distinct & separate continuous DJ mixsets.

Full Journey mix : 70 minute Continuous DJ mix of all 23 tracks

Chill-Out mix: 29 minute mini-mix (Ambient / Chilled tracks only)

'Beats Only' mix : 50 minute Continuous DJ mix-set

This release occasionally delves into more introspective territories than the previous compilations, ranging from stripped down ambience to mid tempo glitched-out electronica, with some tougher Lo-fi beats & distorted , smokey-basement dub thrown in to the mix for good measure. The journey closes with an ambient section and is topped & tailed by two gentle Kaya Project guitar tracks.

Several of the more atmospheric tracks were originally composed for TV documentaries (BBC Natural World & ITN factual) & many of the shorter (trailer length) songs were originally written for mountain bike companies (namely YETI cycles, Shimano & GT cycles). A few songs from the mountain bike movies 'Above The Noise' and 'This is New Zealand' also have their debut release here.

Natasha's dreamlike vocals are present throughout much the compilation, especially in the tracks 'Edge of the Desert', 'The Golden Ratio', 'Random Light' & 'Perpetual Drift' and they take on a more jazzy husky flavour in 'Hourglass (Full Vocal Mix)

This album livens my mix of tracks without getting too busy, it's a nice compliment. I'll also throw a shout out for the track Falling In, from Dreaming Into Being, by Bluetech.
