Brand new Remix of one of my all time favourite vocalists (& long-time Kaya Project collaborator) Shahin Badar!
If you are unaware of Shahin's contributions to Kaya Project then You may know her voice from The Prodigy's 1997 mega hit "Smack My Bitch Up" - (where her vocal chant is featured as a prime component of the track) or perhaps from Indian Ropeman's track '66 Meters" (Skint Records) - which is how I was originally introduced to her singing.
There are also 2 bonus tracks with this bandcamp release;
"Nazera Mili' as remixed by the awesome TPOT. (Olle Thulin and Per Thuresson from Sweden)
& also Makyo's 2010 "Darbukka Dub" remix of "Ummah Oum" - Shahin & I have always loved this remix & it's been a regular go-to track as a DJ set opener in my sets. People often asked - 'what was that first track you played?' - well, here it is :)

This album is a bit more subtle than the others. At the time of its release i didn't really pay attention to it. But i came back with new eyes and ears and it blew my mind. It's actually up there with "Are you shpongled". Fabulous production! usling
