Walking through was the debut album from Kaya Project. It was originally released on Canadian label interchill records (long time home for the majority of Seb Taylor's downtempo releases) & is now available on Seb's own imprint Tribal Shift records, this release was the first to feature the organic artwork of Suzanne Brady, whose creations has graced every kaya project album cover since.
The album also features performers such as Natasha Chamberlain (Her vocals can be heard on the tracks Slide & Rise Above) & Irina Mikhailova (one of the original Kaya Project collaborators) whose vocals can be heard on the track Labess as well as the Nightflower remix. Jane Lishman also provides the Violin on the track Labess.

"Kaya project is the latest musical incarnation from seb taylor, who has released as shakta, digitalis and is also a co-founder of angel tears. self-taught on the guitar, flute and cello, at age 16 seb heard the album ' songs from the victorious city', a collaboration between anne dudley and jaz coleman (killing joke), and became fascinated with the fusion of middle eastern music and western production.
Kaya Project tracks have been heard on countless compilations by Labels such as Six Degrees & Claude Challes Buddha Bar series.
